First Cadillac announces that its new German-crushing flagship is the CT6. Then Justin Friggin' Bieber is the voice of KITT. And now there will be a crossover between Disney XD's Ultimate Spider-Man (admittedly an extremely mediocre cartoon to begin with - I recall they had a plotline where Spidey pretty much gives Red Skull Cap America's shield out of incompetence) and Disney Channel's JESSIE.
What's JESSIE? It's a multi-cam KidCom about a girl babysitting rich brats. Well, ok, there's more to that but that's besides the point (and Disney Channel, so you're probably not expecting much to begin with).
The "translation" of the live-action characters to Ultimate Spider-Man looks atrocious. It's dangerously close to being an actual atrocity to character design:
None of the characters on the show actually look like that. No actual living human being looks like that.
For comparison's sake this is what they had to work with:
The one thing they had the least incentive to screw up (especially in ensuring the male demo actually watches it) and they screw it up right off the bad. Good job Disney. This is already shaping up to be massive fail.
Note: I may or may not kind of sort of enjoy this show with my 14-year-old cousin.
